Dear Vista Verde Families,

Welcome to the Vista Verde 2019-2020 school year!  We are excited to welcome our returning families and can’t wait to meet our new families.

My name is Shirley Wainberg and I will be your PTA President this year.  I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I have been involved with the PTA for the past 5 years since my daughter started Kindergarten and have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Vista Verde community.

The PTA Board is here to represent and communicate the needs, concerns, and questions of our Vista Verde community.  The mission of the Vista Verde PTA is to advocate for your children’s education and build a community at our school with strong family engagement.

Volunteer

Families, teachers, and staff are the backbone and heart of our amazing community at Vista Verde.  Family involvement at our school is one of its greatest strengths.  We encourage you to look for opportunities to volunteer and share your experience and talents for the betterment of our school. Small or big commitment — we welcome your participation.

Annual Fund

To support and become a member of the PTA, we ask that families donate $240 per student to the PTA Annual Fund, which includes 1 PTA membership (additional memberships are $10 each).  The PTA Annual Fund donation is in lieu of our students having to raise money through magazine, candy, or other sales.

You will see on the attached forms that these funds pay for everything from educational software renewals to family socials to class and after school enrichment programs.  Your donation of $240 per student goes far to help our students and support our teachers.  We also welcome donations at any other level.  Thank you in advance for your generous support!
