Mrs. Awbrey-Smith is the recipient of a $500 CAPTA 2022 Continuing Education Grant for Teachers! We are extremely proud! Learn more about CAPTA grants and scholarships for teachers, staff, health staff, volunteer parents, and PTA programs here. Applications usually open up in early fall with a deadline of October 15th.

Hoops Classic Basketball – Grades 3-8
Have fun representing Vista Verde at this year’s Hoops Classic Basketball tournament for boys and girls in Grades 3-8. The tournament will be held on March 17th-19th, 2023 at IUSD & TUSD gyms. We want to extend a very special thank you to our wonderful librarian, Mrs. Scofield and book fair chair, Cami Patel, for planning all the logistics as well as all the lead and classroom volunteers for making this year’s book fair a success.
