Blessings in a Backpack
Dear Fabulous Vista Verde Community!
Due to the remarkable generosity of our Vista Verde Community, last year’s “Blessings in a Backpack” community service project was such a huge success that we are going to do it again. We will begin August 15th. I am always amazed at how thoughtful and compassionate Vista Verde families are. Thank you for all that you do to make Vista Verde the remarkable school that it is!!!

IPSF – Enrichment Day – RSVP Now
Registration for Enrichment Day is now open! On Monday, February 11, IUSD students in grades 2-8 are invited to join IPSF for a fun-filled day of engaging and exciting classes in subjects including video game development, cooking, movie making, coding, break dancing, art, and much more!

Viking Voices for Middle School – Jan 23 – Wednesday

Vista Verde’s public speaking club for grades 6-8 is starting up again with our next meeting on January 23rd at 1:35 pm in Mrs. Jacobs’ room #18. You can practice your public speaking and impromptu speaking skills in a fun and supportive environment. No previous experience is needed and the meeting is open to all middle school students. - For all of our fabulous families that have donated items to our Rummage Sales, I wanted to let you know that we are not having a rummage sale this year. Going forward it will be an every other year event, so save those valuable items for next year!!
- Thank you all for your generosity in signing up for Blessings In A Backpack! There are quite a few families that sign up numerous times throughout the year and you are greatly appreciated! It has been very successful so far, however the remainder of the year still has many spots available.
