Hoops Classic 2022

Have fun representing Vista Verde at this year’s Hoops Classic basketball tournament for boys and girls in grades 3-8.

The tournament will be held on from March 25th-27th at IUSD & TUSD gyms. All students are welcome to try out.

The registration fee $35 per person. Register online at https://ocyouthsports.org/tournament/hoops-classic

This is the 2nd of four events of the Irvine Tournament of Champions. Deadline to register is March 6th. Parent volunteer coaches are needed!

4-Vert Football Camp

Join us for the 4-vert football tryout camp for the South Irvine Spartans. This camp is for players in 6th-8th grades and provides athletes a chance to work closely with high school coaches.

The tryout is FREE and give players the opportunity to work on their skills and find out more about the team. 4-vert is a non-contact 7v7 football passing league. There is no team commitment necessary to come to the camp.

The camp will be Saturday, February 12 @ University High School Field.

Where:  The Great Park, 6990 Marine Way, Irvine

Fields 19-24.   Parking is located in Lot 4, with additional parking in Lots 3 and 5.

Vista Verde PTA Honorary Service Award

Please nominate a Parent, Family Member, Teacher or Administrator for the 2021-2022 Vista Verde PTA Honorary Service Award. Recipients will be recognized for their outstanding service to children in our community. Consider folks beyond the outgoing PTA Board who work behind the scenes, quietly and efficiently serving youth. Please fill out the nomination google form here by February, 9th.

Awards will be voted on by the PTA Executive Board. Recipients will be announced on PTA Founder’s Day, February 17th, to commemorate the legacy of our founders – to better the lives of every child in education, health and safety.
