IPSF Giving Day is October 20th – Wear Orange

Why Do We Wear Orange?  We wear orange to raise awareness for the incredible people – mental health professionals, instructional assistants, school nurses, and athletic trainers – and after school and summer enrichment programs such as ACE and Tournament of Champions, that make a difference in students’ lives every day, thanks to the generosity of parents and supporters like you. If 200 families make a donation on October 20th towards IPSF, the Irvine Korean Parent Association will donate $10,000! Meet that challenge here!

Blessings in a Backpack

Blessings in a Backpack is a non-profit organization whose mission is to, “…mobilize communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for school-aged children across America who might otherwise go hungry.”

For many years, one of our beloved teachers, Mrs. Farquhar, co-organized Blessings in a Backpack, at our school in an effort to help out our sister elementary school in Santa Ana, Washington Elementary. We are grateful that Vista Verde alumni who are part of the Irvine Chapter of the National Charity League (NCL) continue this tradition by hosting an annual food drive in the community. The next one is this Saturday, October 15th. For more information, please see attached flyer. Thank you, in advance, for your generous contributions!
