Dear Vista Verde Community!!!!!

  1. For all of our fabulous families that have donated items to our Rummage Sales, I wanted to let you know that we are not having a rummage sale this year. Going forward it will be an every other year event, so save those valuable items for next year!!
  2. Thank you all for your generosity in signing up for Blessings In A Backpack! There are quite a few families that sign up numerous times throughout the year and you are greatly appreciated! It has been very successful so far, however the remainder of the year still has many spots available.   3. I would like to start up the garden club again and need student volunteers to do so.

IPSF: Save The Date: Enrichment Day 2019 – February 11, 2019

Monday, February 11 is a district-wide school holiday. If you do not have plans for your student, we have
good news! Students in Grades 2-8 are invited to spend the holiday at IPSF Enrichment Day. The day will
run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Creekside High School. Students may pre-register for four classes in a
variety of fun and engaging subjects. Cost is $90 per student.

The staff of Vista Verde presents Hogwarts Holiday Dessert and Book Fair

Experience a magical evening with the Vista Verde Family at the Annual Winter Open House on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6pm – 7:30pm

Enjoy holiday treats prepared by the staff, listen to musical performances, visit the book fair, and explore your child’s classroom.

Please consider participating in the theme by wearing your favorite Hogwarts-style attire. Ideas include: dark vests, dark pants and/or skirts, white shirts, dark outer robes, a tie/scarf to match your favorite house, Quidditch team  gear, etc.

In order to promote a safe school community, please leave all wands and brooms at home.

Vista Verde Toy Drive

This holiday season we are holding a Toy Drive for a Marine Battalion families by donating a new, unwrapped gift suitable for infants or children ages 12 and younger. If your family is interested in donating a toy, we will be collecting toys from November 5 – December 14th, and you can drop the gift off in the box outside the front office.
