Vista Verde Academic Enrichment For All and MathLeague present MathLeague Online. Register at Mathleague.org under “Vista Verde” to participate.

Interested in some friendly online math competition? Calling all Vista Verde students in grades 3 through 8. Register by September 25th to represent Vista Verde in this year’s Math Madness tournament. Students will solve math problems as a team on a joint platform and compete against other schools in the US.

The Vista Verde PTA Academic Enrichment For All will be offering AMC 8 this year on Tuesday November 12, 3:15-4:15PM.
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. Possible topics include but are not limited to: counting and probability, estimation, proportional reasoning, elementary geometry including the Pythagorean Theorem, spatial visualization, everyday applications, and reading, interpreting graphs and tables, linear or quadratic functions and equations, coordinate geometry, and other topics traditionally covered in a beginning algebra course.
