The Annual “Viking Idol” Talent Show is going to be on March 7th, 2019.
To audition you must turn in the signed permission form by Friday, January 11th, 2018.
All Vista Verde students and parents are welcome to audition for the “Viking Idol” Talent Show. Please be aware that not all auditions will be showcased in the talent show due to time constraints and variety.

Enjoy holiday treats prepared by the staff, listen to musical performances, visit the book fair, and explore your child’s classroom.
Please consider participating in the theme by wearing your favorite Hogwarts-style attire. Ideas include: dark vests, dark pants and/or skirts, white shirts, dark outer robes, a tie/scarf to match your favorite house, Quidditch team gear, etc.

This special event was created by a small group of passionate students from each of our high schools who envisioned providing the community with a night of performance and creativity with a purpose. Through the medium of student created stories, art, music, poetry, and immersive performances, the community came together to celebrate and explore what it means to be human. www.irvinetalks.com

The Winter Bowl is a City of Irvine / IPSF flag football tournament, including teams representing all the schools in Irvine. The tournament is open to 3rd-8th grade boys and girls. We are looking for boys, girls and coaches who are interested in participating.
The tournament games are on Saturday, January 26. If your son or daughter are interested in trying out, please register using the link below. We will notify players of the tryout schedule at a later date.

A huge congratulations is in order for our amazing teachers and staff at Vista Verde. This year, we had 100%teacher participation in our PTA membership! They showed us all just how dedicated they are to supporting our school. To show them our appreciation, they’ll be getting a catered luncheon, provided by the PTA. Congratulations to our boys 7th/8th grade soccer team who won their 4th straight Harvest Cup championship yesterday. The girls 3rd/4th grade team also won the championship in their very first Harvest Cup. Congratulations to our champs and to all the players who participated in the tournament. You made Vista Verde proud.
