Harvest Cup Tournament-Deadline to join – November 10
Have fun representing Vista Verde at this year’s Harvest Cup for boys and girls in grades 3-8. The tournament will be held on December 6-8 at OC Great Park.

AMC 8 Grades 5-8 – November 12 – Tuesday
The Vista Verde PTA Academic Enrichment For All will be offering AMC 8 this year on Tuesday November 12, 3:15-4:15PM.
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. Possible topics include but are not limited to: counting and probability, estimation, proportional reasoning, elementary geometry including the Pythagorean Theorem, spatial visualization, everyday applications, and reading, interpreting graphs and tables, linear or quadratic functions and equations, coordinate geometry, and other topics traditionally covered in a beginning algebra course.

IUSD – Vaping Prevention Parent Workshop – November 13 – Wednesday
There is a growing concern about youth vaping, especially on school campuses. Parents can attend this free workshop to learn more about how to prevent vaping.
Session 1: November 13, 2019 – 6pm to 8pm at Jeffrey Trail MS MPR

PTA General Assembly Meeting – at 8:40 am – November 19 – Tuesday
Join us after drop-off in the MPR for a PTA General Assembly Meeting. We will have some sweet treats and do a little bit of PTA business.
