Interested in finding out more about our PTA? After you drop off your kids, come to our PTA Kickoff Coffee Connection, and let us welcome you to the school year with some hot coffee – on us!
If you’ve been a bit curious about PTA, but have yet to take the next step, this will be a great opportunity to learn more about how our PTA works, ask questions, meet our reps, and chat with other families.

Tickets to FFN activities will be online this year and you may pick up your tickets at Will Call on October 26. All games, activities, and food/drink concessions may be purchased with tickets only. Most items or games will cost between 2-5 tickets.
Price:
Concession/Game Tickets: 5 tickets for $5, 10 tickets for $10, and 25 tickets for $20.
Teacher Raffle Tickets: $5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20.
In the Shopping Cart page you can specify the quantity of each item you are purchasing.
Children and families may use tickets to purchase concessions (such as hot dogs, candy, snacks), cotton candy, popcorn, drinks, baked goods from Raise the Bar. Carnival game/activity booths this year include Balloon Artists, Face Painters, Game Trucks, Carnival Games with Prizes, Stilt Walkers, DJ and more!!
Based on past experience, 25-40 tickets per child is probably enough for a fun afternoon. You will also be able to buy more tickets onsite.
What are Teacher Raffle Tickets? Our wonderful Vista Verde teachers and staff have generously donated special experiences to the lucky winners in each grade (grades K-5). A few special winners will also get to be Principal For A Day or have lunch with our Assistant Principal. Each student in K-5 will receive one free raffle ticket to enter the raffle, but buying more tickets means more chances to win! Past examples of teacher raffle prizes include a Lunch Date at Ruby’s Diner and a Book from our Kindergarten Team or Popcorn, Popsicles, and Pictionary! with our Third Grade Team. Keep your PayPal receipt. You can pick up your pre-purchased tickets at our Will Call table on October 26 starting at 3:15 PM. The event is from 3:30-6:30PM.

Stress, anxiety, depression… we all face pressures in our daily lives. And now, more than ever, our children are faced with the same issues.
Vista Verde School counselors and psychologists and Vista Verde PTA have partnered to create an amazing Red Ribbon Week Program by giving students tools on how to deal with everyday stress through mindful activities! Children will learn all about mindfulness and self-care!
Parents will also learn through daily posts on social media: Facebook, Instagram.
The National PTA Reflections Art Program will soon come to an end. This year’s theme is “Heroes Around Me.” Please turn in your artwork at the Reflections table in front of the school on Wednesday, October 17th, either before school from 8:00-8:30 a.m. or after school, from 3-3:45pm. All entries must be submitted within the guidelines and with a completed entry form and a consent form. Incomplete entries will be rejected. Walk to School Day is coming up!
We are going to have our walking or biking to school on Thursday, October 24th!
We would like to create a sense of awareness for the importance of mental health, and the role it plays in preventing future drug abuse! We encourage participants to wear something red! Irvine Police will be present and volunteers will be there to cheer you on!
Dear Fabulous Vista Verde Community!
Due to the remarkable generosity of our Vista Verde Community, last year’s “Blessings in a Backpack” community service project was such a huge success that we are going to do it again. We will begin August 15th. I am always amazed at how thoughtful and compassionate Vista Verde families are. Thank you for all that you do to make Vista Verde the remarkable school that it is!!!
