Uni Football Summer Camp & Freshman Parent/Player Meeting

University High School Football is hosting a Freshman summer camp starting on Monday, June 23rd from 3:00pm – 5:20pm, Monday through Thursday until July 24th. Players only need cleats, water and practice gear, which is available for pre-order until May 16th at the online store, and for purchase on the first day of camp. There will also be a New & Incoming Freshman Parent/Player meeting on Thursday, May 8th at 6:00pm in the Uni Theater. Meet the coaching staff and learn more about the summer camp and the 2025 season.

PTA Honorary Service Awards

In honor of PTA Founder’s Day, Vista Verde PTA is recognizing the outstanding service to children in our community by awarding a National PTA Honorary Service Award to one Vista Verde volunteer and one Teacher/Administrator/Staff member. Join us on Friday, April 25th at 8:30am, for coffee and donuts as we recognize these outstanding individuals. The awards will be presented in front of the MPR by the flagpole after drop off.

Earth Day Celebration

Join us for a fun and meaningful Earth Day event on Tuesday, April 22nd, from 2:30pm – 3:30pm in front of the school. The event will include Upcycling Crafts and Planting Activities for the students. Come celebrate our planet — learn, create, and grow with us!

CHOC Parenting Workshop

CHOC Psychologists will be hosting a parenting workshop on Stress and Academic Pressure in the MPR at 8:30am on Thursday, April 24th. All parents are invited to attend and learn more about how stress can affect your students and ways to support and communicate with your child.

Jr. Maccabi Games & Taste of Maccabi Games

The Jr. Maccabi Games is an exciting, Olympic-style, one-day sports competition for youth aged 9-12, modeled after the renowned JCC Maccabi Games. Participants will develop their skills, enjoy friendly competition, and connect with the community.

For younger athletes aged 5-8, the Taste of Maccabi offers a fun and engaging introduction to the games, encouraging enthusiasm for future participation.

The Orange County Department of Education has partnered with youth leaders across Orange County to present the Screens & Teens Parent workshop which will include important information, resources, and the youth perspective. Topics of discussion:
