ASB is organizing two spirit days during the month of September. In honor of Constitution Day, show your patriotic spirit by dressing in red, white, and blue on Monday, September 18th!
Color Block day is planned for Friday, September 22nd! Dress up in your designated color based on your grade level.

Academic Enrichment for All, otherwise known as AEFA, is one of the most impactful programs sponsored by the PTA. AEFA includes Astronomy Night, National History Day, Science Olympiad, Chess Tournaments, Math Field Day, Math Counts, Math League, the Rubiks Cube Challenge, the Egg Drop Competition and more! We are currently in the process of getting organized and need volunteers! Join the University High School Pep Squad for a fun-filled day of learning cheers, chants, games and dances on Friday, September 1, 2023, 4:30 pm – 7:45 pm! You will also get the chance to cheer at a Varsity Football Game, side-by-side with the UHS Cheerleaders and Songleaders! Open to students in grades TK-6. Check-in/registration begins at 4:00 pm, and campers will be released at halftime.

Vital Vikings is a volunteer program for students who express interest in gaining confidence and conflict mediation skills. Open to 6-8th graders who are dependable, kind and patient to help support Elementary students during lunch or recess to reinforce STAR expectations. Teacher recommendation based on academics and behavior is required. Vital Vikings meet with the Vital Viking Advisor(s) periodically to train, plan, and organize student conflict mediation and activities. Parent volunteers are needed to assist on the following dates: Wednesday 08/30, 09/20, and 11/01. We’d appreciate any help. Please click here to sign up to volunteer for the upcoming lunches.
Calling all creative Vista Verde students! Look for Reflections 2023-24 National PTA art contest at the Ice Cream Social next Friday, August 25 3-5:30pm. At the Reflections table you can learn about this year’s contest theme, I am Hopeful Because… , see Vista Verde’s award winning entries from previous years, and participate in craft activities for all ages, including illustrating pictures. Contest entry forms will be available on the PTA website soon. We can’t wait to see you on Friday!

To help support the safe and responsible use of e-vehicles (e-bikes, e-scooters and e-skateboards), Irvine Unified School District middle and high schools have partnered with the Irvine Police Department (IPD) and will host safety presentations as part of IUSD’s new mandatory e-vehicle registration program.
