If you like telling stories, consider signing up for National History Day. Each year National History Day frames students’ research with a historical theme. The theme is chosen for broad application to world, national or state history. Next year’s theme is Frontiers in History: People, Places, Ideas. Go to the NHD site for more details on competition categories and rules. Specific dates will be available later this year.
Hey Vikings! Show your talent and join us for the 2022-23 Reflections Art Program. The theme is SHOW YOUR VOICE! Take it and run with it this summer! All students are encouraged to create a short film, compose original music or literature, choreograph a dance, take a photograph, or create visual art: painting, graphic design, a sculpture, or create fashion using the theme, SHOW YOUR VOICE! Any student can submit one entry in all six categories! Students with disabilities who receive services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) or Section 504 can submit entries through the Special Artist division as well! If you plan to attend, please consider volunteering for an hour at our Concessions or Carnival Games booths. There are still several slots that need to be filled!
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to pre-order Handel’s Ice Cream at a special price and avoid the line.
The deadline for ice cream orders is Monday 5/9 at 12pm, so sign up soon!
