Ice cream and food trucks will be on campus from approximately 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Read Across America 2022 – A Journey across the 50 States – 2/28 – 3/4

In celebration of Read Across America Week, our Vista Verde Library will be taking classrooms on a reading expedition that will showcase the diverse culture and landscape of our 50 states! Vista Verde PTA Honorary Service Award

Founders Day, February 17, is when we celebrate the legacy and work of our PTA founders — Alice McLellan Birney, Phoebe Apperson Hearst and Selena Sloan Butler — to improve the lives of all children and families. We take pride in our achievements, and renew our commitment to be a powerful voice for all children; a relevant resource for parents; and a strong advocate for public education.

This year we are celebrating 125 years of working on behalf of children and families. Our history informs our work.

Congratulations again to Vista Verde Parent, Raissa Soriano, our 2022 Honorary Service Award recipient and Vista Verde Head Custodian, Miguel Gudino, our 2022 Outstanding Administrator Award recipient in recognition of their service to our children and Vista Verde PTA.
