PTA Honorary Service Awards
In honor of PTA Founder’s Day, Vista Verde PTA is recognizing the outstanding service to children in our community by awarding a National PTA Honorary Service Award to one Vista Verde volunteer and one Teacher/Administrator/Staff member. Join us on Friday, April 25th at 8:30am, for coffee and donuts as we recognize these outstanding individuals. The awards will be presented in front of the MPR by the flagpole after drop off.
The Crayon Initiative
In the spirit of Earth Day, VV Vikings can help save the earth and help others by bringing broken or unwanted crayons to school and dropping them in the blue bucket outside the front office. The crayons will be sent to the Crayon Initiative where they will be used to create new crayons for children being treated for their illnesses at Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Drop off anytime between now and next Friday. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Gillen at lillilabuen@iusd.org.
