2023-2024 Reflections Winners!
We are thrilled to announce the winners of this year’s Reflections program, a celebration of artistic talent and creative expression that continues to inspire us all. The dedication and creativity displayed by our students have once again left us in awe, and we couldn’t be more proud of their incredible achievements.
This year, the theme for Reflections was “I am hopeful because…” and our talented students took this theme to heart, pouring their hearts and souls into their artistic creations. The submissions spanned a wide range of art forms, including visual arts, literature, and photography. The judges had a difficult task ahead of them, as the quality of the entries was truly exceptional.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and participants for their incredible contributions to this year’s Reflections program. Your hard work, passion, and dedication shine through in every piece of art you created. The Award of Excellence winners will move forward to represent Vista Verde at the district level.
We would also like to express our gratitude to the judges, teachers, parents, and volunteers who helped make this event possible. Your support and guidance have been instrumental in nurturing the artistic talents of our students.
To showcase the remarkable talent of our students, the Award Ceremony will be on Tuesday, Jan. 23rd to recognize all the students who have submitted an entry. Details closer to the event will be sent out by Fawn Agner. We will also be displaying their outstanding works of art throughout the school for everyone to admire.
Once again, congratulations to all our Reflections winners. Your art has enriched our school community and serves as a testament to the power of creativity and imagination. We can’t wait to see what incredible art you will produce in the future.
Trunk-or-Treat 2023
Put on your costumes and join us for a spooktacular night at the PTA Trunk-or-Treat! Monday, October 30, 5-7pm. Prizes for funniest, most original, and spookiest trunks! There are still a few spaces left if you’d like to decorate your trunk and help us pass out candy. The PTA will provide candy to all participating cars.
***School dress rules apply to all costumes and trunks. No gore, fake blood, weapons or masks allowed. And no pets allowed per district policy.
