Viking Voices for 4th and 5th Grades

“Good improvisation is all about listening, reacting in the moment, creating, and supporting the ideas of others.” – Tom Yorton, CEO, Second City Works, Chicago

Viking Voices for the 4th and 5th Grades is back! As a precursor to Viking Voices Middle School Public Speaking class, students will learn what tools they can use to become more comfortable speaking in front of an audience and skills they can carry with them throughout their lives.

This year, the students will be learning about the importance of improv! This class is sponsored by the Vista Verde PTA, under the Academic Enrichment for All (AEFA) program. There will be special guests at some of the classes! PTA parent volunteer, Lilli LaBuen Gillen, will lead the class and have created the curriculum. There is no charge for this activity. For more information, please see attached flyer.

This class is currently only available to 4th and 5th Grade. We would love to have it for the younger classrooms, but we need volunteers. If you or a friend is interested, please contact us!

There are only 20 slots per class! RSVP BY JANUARY 16TH FOR EACH CLASS! Dates are on the attached flyer.

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
