PTA General Assembly Meeting – Tuesday, Nov 15th
Save the date for the next Vista Verde PTA General Assembly on Tuesday, November 15th, at 6pm. The Board will share updates and discuss PTA programs, and the membership will elect a Nominating Committee that will develop the slate for the 2023 – 2024 Executive Board. Elections for the new Board will be held in February 2023. According to PTA Bylaws, one must be a PTA member for 30 days prior to November 15th to be eligible to vote on any proposals. Becoming a member and any donations to the annual fund will help make this mission a reality. Thank you for your support!

Red Ribbon Week 2022-23: Celebrate Life! Life Drug Free!
Red Ribbon Week is coming October 24-28th! Our RRW Chair, Sevin Ataie and our amazing Vista Verde ASB have been busy organizing an amazing week for our school. Join Sevin for our first Parent Information Night on 10/27 at 6pm-7pm, when she will host a conversation with guest panelists including school counselors and speakers from the OC Healthcare Agency. The discussion will focus on increasing awareness about the dangers of drugs, Internet safety and prevention strategies to keep our kids and our community safe. RSVP here
Volley Fest Volleyball Tournament (Grades 7 & 8)
Have fun representing Vista Verde at this year’s Volley Fest volleyball tournament for boys and girls in grades 7 & 8. The tournament will be held on November 6th at the IUSD/TUSD gyms Park. Harvest Cup Soccer: Grades 3rd – 8th

IUSD School Board Candidates Forum (Area 2)
Vista Verde has families that live all over Irvine. The League of Women Voters of OC in partnership with IUCPTA are hosting a forum to meet the three candidates running for the IUSD Area 2 trustee board seat. Wednesday, October 12th from 7pm to 8:30pm IUSD District Office Board Room Everyone is welcome, but only registered voters residing in IUSD Area 2 may vote. After School Classes On Campus at Vista Verde are Back!
Looking for activities to keep your child engaged and learning while having fun after the school day? ACE classes at Vista Verde are back this Fall! The next session of IPSF’s ACE program is coming soon, offering our students hands-on opportunities to explore interests and discover new passions. Classes are held in-person, directly after school on our campus beginning the week of 10/17.
