MathCounts Competition
Calling All Math Enthusiasts!
Vista Verde students, get ready to showcase your math skills!MathCounts is a full-day math contest for middle school students in grades 6–8. It will be held at UCI on February 15, 2024. The contest includes Sprint, Target, Team, and Countdown math rounds—a perfect challenge for math lovers! To help participants prepare, online training sessions will be hosted before the event.

Complete the MathCounts Tryouts Sign-up Sheet by January 10 to secure your spot.
For Grades 4–5:

ASB Spirit Week Dec. 16 – 20
Count down to Winter break and join in on some festive fun! ASB Spirit Week dress up days are December 16-20, so get your outfits ready! Let’s finish off the last week of 2024 with some silly fun!
Monday: Throwback Day – dress in your favorite 70s outfits
Tuesday: Western Winter – giddy up and show off your best western wear
Wednesday: Tourist Day – show off those silly tourist outfits
Thursday: Ugly Sweater Day – wear your festive ugly holiday sweaters
Friday: Pajama Day – roll out of bed and come in your comfy PJs
ACE Winter Session January 27 – March 7
Looking for activities to keep your child engaged and learning while having fun after the school day? The next session of IPSF’s ACE program is coming soon, offering our students hands-on opportunities to explore interests and discover new passions. Classes are held in-person, directly after school on our campus beginning Jan. 27, 2025.
