THRIVING MINDS PROGRAM FOR BOYS
Hello Parents,
Many of you have asked if I offer something for boys, and I’m excited to announce Thriving Minds, a 5-week after-school program designed specifically for 1st-3rd grade boys.
This fun, interactive program is designed to help boys build confidence, strengthen communication skills, develop emotional awareness, and learn positive ways to handle friendships, challenges, and everyday situations through games, activities, role-play, and team-building experiences.
Program Details
Start Date: August 26th
Time: Wednesday’s 1:30 pm -2:30 pm
Location: Room #1
Program Fee: $165Throughout the five weeks, boys will learn how to:
Build confidence and self-esteem
Practice teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving

T93eRUEa4KTeXtoo6 Space is limited to 15 boys to ensure each child receives plenty of individual attention throughout the program. Registration will remain open through July 28th. If you’d like your son to join us, I encourage you to register early.

Parents Appreciating Teachers and Staff
Hello from IPSF!
We’re thrilled to share that the Parents Appreciating Teachers & Staff (PATS) campaign is officially underway, and messages of heartfelt gratitude are already pouring in for your incredible teachers and staff!
PATS offers families a meaningful opportunity to recognize the educators and staff who go above and beyond every day. These personalized messages of appreciation will be printed on special certificates and delivered to schools as a lasting token of thanks.
Keep an eye out! Coming soon, you’ll receive a bright orange envelope from IPSF filled with certificates honoring educators and staff at your school. You may receive multiple deliveries between now and the end of the school year, as certificates will be generated throughout the campaign.
We appreciate your support in making sure these recognitions reach their well-deserved recipients as they arrive, so they can fully experience the appreciation behind each message. And if you’re able to capture photos of your staff with their certificates, we would love for you to share them with us!
Every donation made through PATS helps fund IPSF’s Innovative Grants Program, bringing powerful ideas and creative learning experiences into classrooms across the district.

Teacher Appreciation Week (May 11–15)
“Relax. Recharge. You Deserve It.”
We’re excited to celebrate our incredible teachers and staff all week long! This is a special time for our school community to show gratitude for the care, dedication, and impact our educators have every single day.
The PTA will be providing daily treats and activities, and we invite students to join in with simple, meaningful gestures of appreciation throughout the week:
Monday — Start the Week Refreshed
Encourage your child to bring a kind note or drawing to brighten their teacher’s day.
Tuesday — Pouring Into You, For Once
Have your child share one thing they love or appreciate about their teacher.
Wednesday — Wellness Wednesday
“Take a Moment — You’ve Earned It”
Students can write how their teacher helps them feel supported, confident, or calm.
Thursday — Because You Give So Much
Optional: bring a small token of appreciation (favorite snack, flower, or handmade card).
Friday — Breathe In, Stress Out — It’s the Weekend!
Wrap up the week with a heartfelt “thank you”—a note or kind words go a long way!
Simple, thoughtful gestures mean the most.
