Reflections Winner
Congratulations Noah Lee, CA PTA Reflections Winner for Literature!
California PTA Reflections winners have been announced and we’ve got a Vista Verde Viking moving on to National!
Due to unprecedented events of this past year, the 2020-21 Reflections theme, “I Matter Because…” inspired hundreds of students from all over the state to send in their submissions but seventh grader, Noah Lee’s original poem, “Reasons” continues to make an impact. Noah will represent Vista Verde, the City of Irvine, and the state of California at the National PTA! Winners will be announced at the National PTA convention in May!
Good luck, Noah! We are so proud of you!

IUSD Annual Survey
IUSD’s Annual Survey is now open through February 22. The interactive process helps IUSD identify annual goals, take action on those goals, and measure progress on academic achievement, school climate and parent engagement as part of the 10 month LCAP process.

If your child raised funds and earned a t-shirt, please note that the plan is to distribute the shirts once on-campus classes begin. Additional information will be sent out when school re-opens.

Summer Break is Here!
Congratulations Reflections Winners!
This fall, the National PTA celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Reflections Art Program! This year’s theme was “Look Within.” We received a record total of 33 submissions! Entries are judged at school level, and if they win 1st place, they move on to council level (all over Irvine). If they win at council level, they move up to the Fourth District (all of South Orange County). We are thrilled to announce that two of our very own Vikings have moved on to the PTA District competition!
