Vista Verde’s Physical Education Coach, Akeisha Howard is excited to announce the launch of the Thriving Minds program, a six-week journey designed to help your child build confidence, enhance emotional intelligence, and develop vital social skills. Starting November 13, 2024, this unique program is crafted to empower boys and girls to navigate their emotions, set goals, and communicate effectively all while having fun!

Here’s what your child will gain from participating in Thriving Minds:

• Emotional Intelligence: They’ll learn how to identify and manage their emotions in a healthy way.

• Confidence Building: Through goal-setting and positive affirmations, your child will strengthen their self-belief.

• Social Skills: Activities will help them build meaningful relationships and enhance communication skills.

• Resilience: We’ll introduce strategies to help them overcome challenges and bounce back from setbacks with confidence.

Program Details:

• Start Date: November 13, 2024

• Schedule: Wednesdays from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM

• Duration: 6 weeks

• Location: In-person at Vista Verde

• Cost: $165 (including all supplies)

• Age Groups: 7-10 and 11-14
