Reflections Art Contest Winners

Congratulations to our Reflections winners! Thank you to all 48 students who participated. Please click here for the full list of winners!

For the very first time in VVPTA history, we are holding a Reflections awards ceremony! Due to the pandemic, we are still following Covid-19 safety guidelines and will provide the students with a drive through celebration this Friday, November 12th, from 3:45-4:15pm. We will pass out ribbons and awards. See details on the flyer. If you are unable to make it on Friday, please contact us directly and we can make arrangements for an alternate pickup date.

In honor of all of our participants we would like to celebrate our record setting participation with an art supplies gift basket drawing!  All names will be placed in a bowl and Mr. Vlasic will randomly pick a winner. The winner can pick up their gift basket at Friday’s drive through celebration.

PTA Membership Classroom Contest Winners

Big congratulations to Mrs. Widen, Mrs. Madden & Ms. Gornbein whose classrooms had the highest percentage of PTA members at the end of our 30-day membership contest! Wow, are we on a great path to memberships this year! Thank you, parents, teachers, friends and family for your support. We are happy to report over 200 memberships this year (about 25% of the school!). Remember you can STILL join at any time! Make sure to visit us at our next GA meeting on November 30th at 9am for more updates!

Please click here for more details on District-wide resources provided by IUSD. These free seminars and educational workshops by Irvine Parent Education Programs (IPEP) are offered to Irvine parents throughout the school year. IPEP’s goal is to empower parents with the skills and strategies necessary to become active participants in their child’s education. IPEP offers a variety of workshops focused on topics important to parents of IUSD students. Experienced instructors and district-level representatives lead each workshop, providing participants with thoughtful and up to date information.
