AEFA Awards Ceremony

The Vista Verde AEFA Awards Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 21st, at 3:30pm in the MPR. Join us as we celebrate the achievements of our AEFA community, including participating students, program chairs, teacher advisors, and coaches. AEFA (Academic Enrichment For All), encompasses all enrichment activities sponsored by the Vista Verde PTA for all students. These programs include Math, Science Olympiad, National History Day, Chess Club, Rubik’s Cube Club, Spelling Bee, Viking Voices, Astronomy Night, Earth Day, and more. These programs thrive due to the tremendous time, passion, and love our amazing parent volunteers put into them. If you’re interested in learning more or getting involved, please stop by the AEFA table on Tuesday, May 21st, at 3pm in front of the MPR.

The PTA also recognized three incredible teachers who will be retiring after this year. Brenda Anderson, Liane Martin, and Marianne Widen. Thank you all for your many years of service to our school!

  • Monday: Bring in a handwritten note and let your teachers know how amazing they are.
  • Tuesday: Bring your teacher their favorite snack or treat.
  • Wednesday: High Five your teachers when you see them.
  • Thursday: Bring your teacher their favorite coffee treat or something special to boost their energy
  • Friday: Bring your teacher their favorite classroom supplies

 

Islands Restaurant Dine Out Fundraiser

Founder’s Day Honorary Service Award

In honor of PTA Founder’s Day, Vista Verde PTA is recognizing the outstanding service to children in our community by awarding a National PTA Honorary Service Award to one Vista Verde volunteer and one Teacher/Administrator/Staff member. Family Fun Night Fiesta!!!

Family Fun Night is finally here!!! Join us on the blacktop on Friday, May 3rd, at 3:00pm for the PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year! There will be FREE carnival games & prizes, music and entertainment, concessions for sale, and of course the silent auction! Don’t miss out on the chance to bid on the amazing class baskets and teacher experiences too. Please use the entrance between the MPR and Las Lomas through the balloon arch. See you all there!

2nd Annual District Honors Art Show
