Gaming, Social Media and Mental Wellness Presentation – October 23 – Wednesday

In partnership with Hoag Hospital, IUSD has developed the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Speaker Series. In this session, speakers will discuss the impact that excessive gaming and social media can have on children and teens, including irritability, depression and anxiety.

Parents will learn to recognize the differences between normal behaviors and potentially harmful ones and what they can do to support their children.  There will be a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.  This is a free event (No RSVP needed) and open to the public (16+ recommended).  Attached to this email is the event flyer.
